本专业培养掌握生物技术及其产业化的科学原理、工艺技术过程和工程设计等基础理论、基本技能,能在医药、轻工、环保等生物工程领域从事设计、生产、管理和新技术研究、新产品开发的高级工程技术人才。
本专业学生主要学习化工原理、生物化学和微生物学等基本理论,掌握酶工程、发酵工程与生物分离工程等生物工程领域的基本原理及方法,并通过生物工程基础及专业实验技能的训练,使本专业的毕业生获得以下几个方面的知识与能力:
1.具有较扎实和宽厚的自然科学知识,较好的人文、艺术和社会科学素养;
2.能较好地掌握数学、计算机及英语等重要工具,并自觉将这些工具用于生物工程的学习和科学研究中;
3. 掌握数据查询、文献检索及运用现代信息技术获取相关信息的基本方法;具有一定的实验设计,分析实验结果,撰写论文和参与学术交流等方面的能力。
4.系统地掌握生物工程专业的基础理论、专业知识及实验技能,了解生物工程学科的现状和发展趋势,具备在生物工程领域从事科学研究、工程设计、过程分析及经营管理等方面的能力。
5. 具有健康的体魄和良好的心理素质,具有团队合作精神,社会适应能力强。
化工原理、生物化学、微生物学、酶工程、发酵工程、生物反应工程、生物分离工程、生化工程设备等。
化工原理课程设计、生产实习、毕业实习、毕业设计(论文)等。
学制四年;毕业最低学分要求:170个学分。包括:必修课115学分,专业选修课26学分(专业限选课≥12学分,专业任选课≥6学分),通识选修课4学分,实践环节25学分。
